Shopping for college

Getting ready for Rider is exhausting. I've seen more check lists and made more decisions on what to buy then ever before. I'm really starting to appreciate how expensive things are. Time is flying too! I've been thinking I have so much time to get things together but it's already August!
I am starting to feel a little nervous again, but this time I am equally excited. Every time I pick out something new for my dorm room I get a renewed feeling of independence. I'm also anxiously awaiting my room assignment and info about my new roommate so I can buy a rug and some curtains. I'm sure everyone is worried about who they'll be living with. Will they be cool? Will they like me? Will we get along? The list goes on forever. I just keep reminding myself that we are all in the same boat, and have faith that things will turn out good. My mom has also started the count down until I leave. I cannot believe college is so close, but I am excited to go. I can't wait to see all of you in a few weeks and I hope that everyone is excited too! See you all soon!
